The Forgot Password form sends a one-time password-reset link to your registered email. Type the address you log in with, complete any reCAPTCHA challenge, and click Email Link. The link in the email is single-use and expires after a short window for security.

Form Fields

Email The address tied to your SOCKETWorx account — the one you normally log in with. If you have multiple work emails, this is the one in your Welcome Email.
reCAPTCHA "I’m not a robot" check, shown only if your site has reCAPTCHA configured.
Email Link button Sends the reset link to your email. The page then shows a confirmation. To protect privacy, the confirmation is shown whether or not the email actually exists in the system — if you typed a wrong address you simply won’t get an email.

What happens next

  1. SOCKETWorx emails you a password-reset link — usually within a minute.
  2. Click the link in your email — it takes you to the Reset Password page.
  3. Enter a new password (12+ characters with upper, lower, number, special) and confirm.
  4. Use the new password to log in.

Common Tasks

No email arrived Check your spam / junk folder — password-reset emails sometimes land there. If still nothing after 5–10 minutes, double-check you typed the correct login email; if you did, contact your administrator (your account may not be marked active yet).
"This account exists but is not confirmed" Your account was created but the email confirmation step was skipped. Contact your administrator to confirm the account before the reset will work.
"Link expired" when I clicked it Reset links are time-limited — if you waited too long, request a new one. Each new request invalidates earlier links.
My email changed and I can’t use this Email isn’t self-service-changeable. Contact your administrator and ask them to update your account email from the Users admin page.
